In a post “Return about Payment to MSME Suppliers” earlier here, we discussed two notifications regarding the half-yearly return on the amount of payment due beyond the statutory period of 45 days and the reason of such payment delay. We had a brief discussion in the notified form in that post. We will discuss the electronic version of the Form which is required to be filed now.

Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises came together to protect interests of micro, small and medium enterprises. We will discuss in this post two recent notifications issued by these ministries.
POWER OF CENTRAL GOVERNMENT TO DIRECT COMPANIES TO FURNISH INFORMATION OR STATISTICS (SECTION 405):
The Central Government may by order companies generally or any company or class of company to furnish any information or statistic with regard to constitution or working of the company within a time specified in the order.
