A GROUP WE-CHAT FOR WE-INDIAN

Whenever I think to meet all person of my choice from human history and present, I always have a very long list on different aspect. Meeting a person may be to learn, to pay respect, to get photo opportunity and so on.  This is a time of technology. This classic question has since been changed after introduction of chatting.

This is first time I am going to answer this question over my blog to answer a question asked by WeChat. The question is:

“If you could connect with 5 or more people in a WeChat group – who would they be, and why? What would you talk about? The people can be dead, alive or even fictional.

My first reaction is use of term “5 or more” is restrictive for me because you should reasonable limit your list to most 10 persons. But, I selected 11 people, with whom I will like to connect in a chat group. Before telling, what I we will discuss, i will introduce members invited for group chat.

Shri Krishna:

Human history was not started with idea of nation-state. We usually find traces of consolidation of idea of our nation in Mahabharata period. There was no visionary per excellence other than Krishna, who may give a solid foundation to this young idea. I am admire of Krishna for his vision about king – subject relations, non- cooperation movement against non – performing state, environmental cause, social responsibility, statesmanship, performing arts, culture, war – management, motivation – skill and  sacrifice of his own clan for nation good. Krishna teaches us a practical way of life without claiming any immunity from criticism or defense for his act as an act of god.

I will discuss him, his vision of welfare state and responsible government. Personally, I will try to learn political neutrality, importance of work and its methodology in present days result oriented environment.

Gautam Buddha:

Gautam budhha, though not a statesman, but, influence many modern states and powerful people. Non violence is most powerful and most discussed virtue of States and people in last century even though it is not most practiced virtue.

I will discuss him, world peace, international co – existence and sustainability with social inclusion in out society. I will try to learn love to all living being.

Vishnugupta Kautilya i.e. Chanakya:

All Indian love this professor as well as best practitioner of Economics and political Science. He was first person who first definite shape of our Nation.  His books Arthshastra and Neetishastra have relevance even after 2000 years.

I will discuss him internal defense and revenue system of nation. His Commitment and devotion to his cause may be discussed as added advantage.

Swami Dayanad Saraswati:

I consider Swami Dayanand Saraswati as most relevant reformist of our time. He is considered as first person who give call for swarajya and swadeshi long before Tilak and Gandhi. President RadhaKrishnan called him one of the “makers of modern India”. Maharshi Dayananda advocated the doctrine of Karma and Reincarnation. He emphasized the Vedic ideals of brahmacharya (celibacy). He inspired many of Indian freedom fighters including Bhagat Singh and Subhash Chandra Bose. He also organized many dialogues between Hindu, Muslim and Christian reformists of his time.

I will discuss his idea of Swarajya (self – rule) and swadeshi (Indigenous) with his another idea vashudhaiv Kutumbkam (global family) in modern time. In my personal talk, I will discuss Brahmachrya (celibacy) in these days sex crime in India.

Swami Vivekanand:

Swami Vivekanand was first person who initiated to introduce Indian culture and Indian patriotic thinking to whole western world. He has influence on many leaders, thinkers and political leaders of his time and afterwards. Certainly, he is most politically used reformist in India. All walk of Indian politics used his name at one time or other. Yet, good teaching influence most but many time electoral politics misinterprets.

I will discuss him his vision as patriotic Indian saint in modern time.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi:

Undoubtedly, Gandhi is most influenced leader of India influencing whole world. I regard Gandhi a real politician who can read between lines, listen untold and manage difference of opinion. His non – cooperation and non – violence movement was best tool against powerful colonial power armed with deadly weapons. He able to use long fasts not only as purification tool but as political weapon against powerful governments and influential politicians.

I will discuss him non – violence, non – cooperation as political tool in independent India. Whether, his dream of independent India was same as present day India.

Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar:

He was chief architect of Indian constitution. He is prominent figure who make sure removal of caste discrimination and smooth society in India.

I will discuss unwarranted amendments in Indian Constitution and control on politically motivated amendments. Whether he, himself want a review on constitution. I further will discuss caste based politics and use of his name in Indian politics.

Bhagat Singh:

Bhagat Singh had a very short life but have influence Indian youths. Every young Indian like to link his way of thinking with that of Bhagat Singh. Bhagat Singh, a revolutionary attracted to anarchism, Marxism, Atheism, socialism and leaders of Hindustan Socialist Republican Association.  He wrote a pamphlet entitled Why I am an Atheist, in response to him being accused of vanity by not accepting God in the face of death. While defining Anarchism he said, “This means that they want to end: the Church, God and Religion; the state; Private property.”

I will discuss relevance of his views in fast changing world and its practical implementation of his views.

Subhash Chandra Bose:

He started armed but really organized armed struggle for Indian independence. Subhas who called himself a socialist, believed that socialism in India owed its origins to Swami Vivekananda. He was founder of Forward Bloc, which is a prominent communist party in India. He led Indian National Army in Second World War.

I will discuss national building issues with him; his vision, programmes in present day scenario and socialism as way of life in India.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah:

We all know him as founder of Pakistan. He was first among who demanded Home rule for India much before his next demand for Pakistan. We always have curiosity about incident, which converted a moderate thinker into hardliner.

I will discuss, two – nation theory in contrast to Multi – national prevalent in name region and religion in India and Pakistan. What will be most desirable future of South Asia?

Jawaharlal Nehru:

No doubt, he was architect of independent India and perhaps first person in freedom struggle who thought independence may come in his lifetime. He was a socialist and gain support from all right-wing leaders with his moderate views. He became prime minister due to his ability to collect all different opinion in one cabinet. Ambedkar, Patel, Azad, Prasad all had different political schools.

I will discuss with him family oriented India politics and electoral reforms.

Central theme of this Chat group:

Naturally this will be a very tough penal in a group chat but same time it will be most energetic discussion in my life. We will discuss a future India in third millennia. From national and social life to individual’s person life will be discussed for greater benefit of our nation. A strong and developed nation is a key developed peaceful world.

  1. let me give you an idea… ask Chanakaya about love and ask Buddha about the internal revenue system… that tweaking should make the conversation go in some unpredictable direction and then, maybe, become interestingly revealing!
